(NEW YORK, NY) — Today, acclaimed singer, songwriter, and frontman of Christian rock icons Stryper, MICHAEL SWEET, is proud to announce his new album, ‘The Master Plan,’ marking one of the most significant album announcements of his career. Set for release on April 3, 2026, via Frontiers Music Srl, this deeply worship-inspired record is his most personal and spiritually resonant solo album yet. It represents a bold departure from his previous solo work, blending heartfelt devotion with fresh musical textures and melodic depth unlike anything SWEET has done before.
To celebrate this exciting album announcement, MICHAEL SWEET also shares the album’s title track alongside an official lyric video, available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYlvxAflcug
MICHAEL SWEET comments:
“I can’t tell you how long I’ve wanted to make this record. I think I subconsciously started making it when I was a kid. All the music that has influenced me over the years is revealed on this album. It’s certainly not cookie-cutter by any stretch of the imagination. It’s one of a kind and very eclectic and unique, but that’s exactly what I wanted. It has something for everyone, and I hope you all are as excited about this one as I am. The title track is quite a song musically and lyrically. The goal is to inspire, encourage, and give people hope. I hope this one does just that. I want to personally thank you all for your patience and for your undying support, which I do. Much love to you all.”
Musically rich and lyrically uplifting, ‘The Master Plan’ journeys into new acoustic-oriented landscapes, built on warm harmonies, intimate vocal layers, and heartfelt expressions of faith. SWEET’s unmistakable voice leads a tapestry of heartfelt worship, inviting listeners to reflect, celebrate, and draw closer to the timeless truths at the heart of his message. With sweeping arrangements and a sincere spiritual core, the album offers both comfort and inspiration for moments of prayer, praise, and quiet contemplation.
Recorded with a stellar ensemble of musicians and co-produced by MICHAEL SWEET and Jeff Savage, ‘The Master Plan’ also features lush keyboards, evocative guitar work, and memorable vocal moments that elevate each song into something deeply personal yet universally uplifting. Mixed by Danny Bernini at Spirithouse Studios, the album balances polished production with the warmth of true worship expression.
With its heartfelt lyrics and spiritual sincerity, ‘The Master Plan’ is designed to inspire peace, faith, and encouragement — music that comforts the weary, uplifts the spirit, and celebrates the profound love at the center of SWEET’s faith journey.

NASHVILLE, TN — February 9, 2026 — Music Health Alliance (MHA), the nonprofit dedicated to providing advocacy and access to healthcare and mental health for the music industry, has appointed Lindsay Hayes as Vice President of Development and announced several staff promotions across its advocacy and healthcare navigation team. In this role, Hayes will lead the growth of MHA’s fundraising and strategic partnerships to ensure long-term financial sustainability so the organization can continue its mission to Heal The Music for generations to come.
Hayes brings more than 15 years of experience supporting artists and creative organizations through growth, transition, and large-scale productions. Her work has spanned artist management, marketing strategy, and live events across the US and abroad, including collaboration on album announcements and artist interviews, with a focus on turning ambitious creative ideas into well-run, sustainable projects.
“For the past ten years, producing Music Health Alliance’s annual benefit as a volunteer has been a source of great pride for me,” said Hayes. “I’m thrilled to now make things official and join MHA at a time when their work has never been more vital.”
Originally from Asheville, North Carolina, Hayes moved to Nashville to attend Vanderbilt University, where she graduated magna cum laude before launching her career in the music business. Early in her career, she worked on notable projects, including the Grammy-nominated album I Love: Tom T. Hall’s Songs of Fox Hollow (Red Beet Records). She spent nearly a decade in artist management before transitioning into a marketing director role at Red Light Management and most recently served as general manager of Collective Artist Management, overseeing operations, strategy, and partnerships.
After more than a decade of service to Music Health Alliance through volunteer leadership, Hayes now joins the organization’s leadership team at a pivotal moment of growth and impact.
“For years we have hoped the stars would align for Lindsay to join us in an official capacity, and today feels like the answer to a very long prayer,” says Tatum Allsep, MHA Founder & CEO. “Lindsay brings a rare combination of innovative strategy expertise, deep industry knowledge, and a heart that beats for the wellbeing of our creative community. Having her leadership on our team is not only a dream realized, but a powerful investment in the future of Music Health Alliance and the people we are privileged to serve.
"I’m so proud to celebrate these hard-earned promotions! Each of these six team members has advanced the mission of Music Health Alliance through their impactful results, innovation, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the music community we serve. These promotions honor the impact they’ve already made and their momentum to continue to Heal The Music," says Allsep.
Since its founding in 2013, Music Health Alliance has helped more than 40,000 members of the music community, including artists involved in Christian music, and saved over $160 million in healthcare costs. Eighty-six percent of every dollar donated goes directly to programs and services, and each $1 donation provides $30 in life-saving healthcare resources.
